What’s NWAICA

 NWAICA-North West Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Association is a non-profit community based organisation endorsed as a Charity/PBI in 2008, which aims to improve the cultural, physical and social well-being of the North-West Brisbane Indigenous Community.

 

NWAICA was first established in 1996 to address major issues of concern affecting our Indigenous youth and community. NWAICA was officially incorporated in 2000.

NWAICA currently services the following areas: Albany Creek, Alderley, Ashgrove, Auchenflower, Bardon, Bridgemen Downs, Chermside West, Enoggera, Everton Park, Ferny Grove, Grange, Ferny Hills, Arana Hills, Everton Hills, Kedron, Keperra, Lutwyche, Milton, Mcdowall, Mitchelton, Newmarket, Paddington, Stafford Heights, The Gap, Upper Kedron, Wilston and Windsor.
